NFL Preseason schedule 2022
(NFL Preseason schedule 2022/ NowInSports)

This will be the second season in which teams have only three preseason games — with the lone exception being those two teams that play in the Hall of Fame Game to kick off the year.

NFL viewers certainly won’t mind the shortened preseason. After all, that means one extra game in the regular season and one week closer to the start, which starts on Sept. 8 in a Thursday matchup between the Rams and Bills.

Here’s a look at the schedule for every week of the 2022 NFL preseason, including start times and TV channels for each game.

When does the 2022 NFL preseason start and end?

  • Start date: Thursday, Aug. 4
  • End date: Sunday, Aug. 28

The NFL will return to television screens on Aug. 4, when the Jaguars and Raiders face off in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. That game will be carried on NBC.

Jacksonville and Las Vegas will be the only teams with four preseason games on their schedule, while the rest of the league will have only three each.

The preseason will end on Aug. 28, per the NFL.

How to watch NFL preseason games on TV

Each week during the preseason, several games will be carried on national television, with NBC, ESPN, Fox, CBS, and Amazon Prime each carrying national broadcasts. Local networks like CBS and Fox will have the rest of the games.

For those interested in watching every preseason game, NFL Game Pass, which costs $99.99, will have access to each game and replays. Nationally televised games can be streamed on fuboTV, which offers a free trial.

New Zealand swept the T20 series in the Netherlands

New Zealand Vs Netherlands t20
New Zealand Vs Netherlands ( twitter)

New Zealand completed a European tour that began in late May and moved through England, Ireland and Scotland. They weren’t finished touring, though. They go to West Indies for three T20s and three ODIs from next Wednesday.

An unbeaten century partnership between Mitchell Santner and Daryl Mitchell led New Zealand to an eight-wicket win over the Netherlands and a Twenty20 series sweep.

Santner scored a career-best 77 not out and Mitchell 51 not out in propelling New Zealand to 149-2 in reply to the Netherlands’ 147-4. They won with six overs to spare. The Black Caps won the first T20 by 16 runs on Thursday and were even more convincing.

Santner came to the crease in the second over when Martin Guptill was bowled on 2, and his first shot was to hit Tim Pringle over the long fence. Finn Allen fell in the next over on 13, and Mitchell joined Santner.

They combined for 123 runs in 65 balls, which didn’t score only 15. Santner reached his first T20 fifty in 29 balls. He was dropped on 43 and 56.

Mitchell took all the strikes in the 14th over, rushing from 33 with two sixes, a two, and a match-winning boundary to notch his second T20 fifty. The Dutch chose to bat first, and Bas de Leede followed his 66 on Thursday with another team-best 53 not out from 48 balls.

What is Google Cloud VPN, and how does it work?

Google Cloud VPN

Google Cloud VPN is a service you can use to connect to your virtual private cloud (VPC) network from your local network through an Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) virtual private network (VPN) connection. It’s often used to allow on-site networks to leverage the power of resources on VPCs, and vice versa.

This is a lot of information to digest, but in this guide we’ll break down what it all means. By the end of the article, you’ll have a high-level understanding of what Google Cloud VPN does, and how it might be useful for your organization.

What is a private cloud?

First, let’s define what a private cloud is. Companies that rent resources like data storage servers and virtual machines are using cloud models. There are two types of cloud: private cloud and public cloud. A private cloud is a set of cloud-hosted resources dedicated exclusively to a single customer, whereas public clouds may see customers sharing computing resources such as network bandwidth and processing power.

Private clouds are typically more secure than public clouds. And because resources are not shared with other customers, private cloud performance is more stable and reliable.

However, private clouds are relatively expensive, because they require an investment in hardware and software. They also need someone to manage and maintain the hardware and software, too, and it’s not easy to scale a private cloud up or down when you need to.

What is a virtual private cloud?

A virtual private cloud is a private cloud contained within a public cloud. The cloud provider sells logically isolated parts of its public cloud to many customers.

Importantly, processing and data storage systems aren’t shared between customers in a virtual private cloud. You get your own unique, private cloud resources, and your data is always kept separate from other virtual private clouds. This means a virtual private cloud should be just as secure as a traditional private cloud, but is much less expensive to rent.

How are virtual private clouds managed?

From a network technician’s point of view, virtual private clouds work roughly like traditional offline physical networks, but everything is handled virtually with software. You set up virtual computers, subnets, network partitions, network gateways, and access control parameters, just as you would if you were working with physical devices.

Instead of having to physically set up the devices, setup and maintenance of the virtual cloud is achieved through a browser-based management console.

Within the Google Cloud ecosystem, this service is called Virtual Private Cloud. Other cloud providers use similar names for their services. For instance, Amazon Web Services’ virtual private cloud service is also called Virtual Private Cloud (AWS VPC).

What is a VPN?

Let’s tackle another acronym. A virtual private network (VPN) is a tunnel between two remote networks. It enables devices on separate networks to interact with each other as if they were connected to the same physical network.

In business setups, VPN connections are often made using the internet. Security is therefore an issue, so all data is encrypted. No intermediary server can see what’s being sent, keeping information secure.

For personal use, VPN services are used to increase anonymity and security on the web.

What is a cloud VPN?

Do virtual private clouds have a use for VPNs? Yes, even in virtual private clouds, VPNs are important. The VPN in a virtual private cloud performs the same functions as a VPN does for traditional business networks. Namely, a cloud VPN (e.g., Google Cloud VPN) allows remote networks to securely connect to the virtual private network, and vice versa.

An interesting use case for cloud VPNs is enabling access to the cloud network from your physical network. Your on-site network can use the cloud VPN to access resources in a virtual private cloud as if they were on computers hosted on your local network. Similarly, your cloud-based resources can now leverage the resources that remain on your on-site network.

Another application for cloud VPNs is bridging between two cloud networks. It’s possible to allow access to your Google Virtual Private Cloud from another cloud provider such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), for example. Google Cloud VPN, in this case, is the vital bridge between your two cloud-based services.

Google Cloud VPN: HA vs. Classic

It’s worth noting there are two versions of Google Cloud VPN: HA VPN and Classic VPN. Some of Classic VPN’s functionality was deprecated in March 2022, so Google encourages administrators to move to HA VPN instead.

HA stands for high availability, which works by offering multiple connections at once. It’s easier to set up and maintain than Classic VPN.

Because of its improved setup, when properly configured, HA VPN has an availability service level agreement (SLA, or uptime) of 99.99%. Classic VPN only has a 99.9% availability SLA. This extra reliability can make all the difference for mission-critical applications.

Google Cloud VPN plays a similar role to a traditional VPN in that it allows for secure remote access to network resources as if you were connected on the same network. It’s only different in that it works in the Google Cloud Virtual Private Cloud, the networking layer of Google’s cloud infrastructure.

Google Cloud VPN can be used to securely connect your in-house networks to your virtual private cloud, or to connect multiple virtual private clouds while maintaining a high level of security. It’s available in two versions: HA VPN and Classic VPN, but we strongly encourage you to use the HA VPN version whenever possible. Article Source

7 Things College Coaches Want From High School Athletes

7 Things College Coaches Want From High School Athletes
7 Things College Coaches Want From High School Athletes

College recruiting is very competitive. Athletes and their families who embrace this fact tend to get more and better offers from college coaches. Ultimately it’s up to the athlete and family to determine which approach to take.

Here’s a secret that most families don’t know until it’s too late. College scholarships and roster spots don’t always get offered to the best student and/or the best athlete. They are offered to the best student and/or the best athlete who the college coaches know!

Now that the school year has started, here are 7 things every high school student athlete and their family should be doing to get the best possible offers.

· Academics Coaches

College coaches need good students more than they need good athletes. A coach can always make a good athlete a better athlete but can’t make a student better. An athlete can create more playing opportunities by getting a better grade point average.

· Athletics Coaches

Coaches want the very best athlete possible. Good athletes train, run and lift in the off season. They make it a point to be bigger, faster, stronger and more flexible. They play club sports at a higher level and may cross train by playing a second sport in school.

· Leadership.

Every school and every coach is building tomorrow’s leaders from today’s leaders. Athletes show their leadership ability in school by participating in clubs which tend to build leadership qualities such as mentor/mentee programs, ambassador programs and school tour guides. On the field or on the court they are certified referees or they are coaches for youth sports programs in town.

· Citizenship.

Every school is building tomorrow’s citizens from today’s citizens. Athletes who are involved in clubs, aside from sports, make their school environment a better place for all students. Volunteering in community programs also shows good citizenship because this makes the world a better place for all.

· Video.

College coaches will always ask for a video. Videos are easier to make now than they were a few years ago. A coach is not going to waste their precious time to come and see an athlete play in a high school game unless they see a video first to determine if it’s worth their time and effort.

· Timing.

Recruiting and associated offers start as early as middle school. Families who realize this start early and tend to get more and better offers.

· Time.

The recruiting process is very time consuming and very convoluted. If an athlete is serious about playing sports in college, the family should be prepare to spend time every day, every week, and every month to get in front of as many coaches as possible. If time is an item that is short supply in a family’s schedule, they should consider outsourcing the project to qualified marketing service.

Athletes can tip the recruiting scales in their favor! Learn about college recruiting by visiting us at and complete the online questionnaire. Since 1986, College Prospects of America (CPOA) has helped approximately 50,000 high school athletes achieve their goal of playing sports in college and they have received millions of dollars in financial aid. article source

Samsung Galaxy S22’s 5th color might be its finest yet

Samsung Galaxy S22

Samsung Galaxy S22 has a brand-new color choice, Bora Purple, which reminds us that as phones look and function more alike, it’s design accents that matter.

The name is originated from the Oriental word for “Purple,” which implies the actual shade name might be “Purple Purple.” However, for Samsung, a South Korean company, the term also refers to imagination and “triggering joy.”

Taking a look at and holding the new Samsung Galaxy S22 Bora Purple phone, I don’t so much obtain the happiness or innovative feelings, however instead, a distinctive fuchsia visibility. I imply, this color is not a deep purple, but a softer, fuchsia blend, the kind that you could make use of as a wall covering.

Prices of American Made Use Of Vehicles In Chatmohar Could Surprise YouAmerican Used Autos|Search.

Shades can elicit sensations and also the Bora Purple Galaxy S22 does have a lighter, perhaps a lot more happy look than Phantom Black, which feels strong and a little daunting. There are now five shade choices in overall: in addition to the brand-new Bora Purple and also previously mentioned Black, there’s the Phantom White (a bold option if it’s not summer season), Pink Gold (which advises me of a Rose Gold), and the wonderful, abundant Eco-friendly I checked earlier this year.

Apart from a brand-new color, there are no distinctions in design, feature, functions, or specs in between this brand-new alternative as well as the original quad.

In case you’ve failed to remember, the flagship Galaxy S22 Samsung unveiled in February has a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen, a triple camera array on the back (50MP, 12MP, 10MP), one drill-through 10MP selfie video camera on the front, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 8 GB of RAM, as well as a 5G choice. It’s a terrific phone, though a little tiny, and it does not rather contrast to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, specifically in the camera area.

The edge tint is such an exquisite touch. (Image credit: Future / Lance Ulanoff)

Currently, does Fuschia – I mean Bora Purple – essentially change exactly how I feel about the phone? No. However, for Samsung, adding a shade alternative is like opening the door to another section of consumers that, though possibly thrilled with the S22, weren’t influenced by the original color choices. Probably they believed, “If only it was available in purple.” Well, currently it does.

The shade is clear as well as popular across the glass back and also extra faint over the video camera range’s steel housing. It also appears in a refined, easy-to-miss tone on the steel band surrounding the framework that I can see more plainly when I compared the new color phone with its siblings.

I already advised the S22 in my evaluation. Does a brand-new shade elevate it a notch? Naturally not. Yet it is a lovely color that must make somebody that needs a little Bora in their lives really delighted.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 in Bora Purple gets here on August 10, Samsung’s Unpacked Day, for the very same costs as all the various other S22s: $799/ ₤ 769/ AU$ 1,249 (AT&T, T-Mobile, UScellular, Verizon, as well as Xfinity Mobile). article source
